When you set up the integration between Xero and Bluechain, select the “Bulk payments” option. With this option enabled, when bills are approved in Xero, they are not automatically sent to the Bluechain app. Instead, you create a batch of bills for a bulk payment run in Bluechain.

To send a batch of bills to the Bluechain app, in “Awaiting payment”, set a “Planned date” for the bills you want to include in the batch. The planned date is the date of your payment run. The batch is sent from Xero to the app as a single notification. The batch of bills can then be actioned in the app as a group. From the app, you can also select individual bills to pay on a different date.
