Change the authorisation limit

Change the limit above which you must authorise a payment

You can set authorisation limits individually for each eCard and change them at any time. By default, the authorisation limit is set to $100 when the eCard is created. When set, any transaction greater than the limit requires the user to be authenticated. Authentication uses the app passcode or your phone's biometrics, if you have enabled this feature.

To change the authorisation limit:

  1. Tap the More "hamburger" menu at the bottom-right of the home screen, and tap the eCard you want to personalise. You can also select the eCard by tapping it in the eCard carousel.

  2. Tap Payment Limit.

  3. You will be asked to authenticate the change.

  4. Type in the amount at which authentication is required. Type "0" (zero dollars) if you want to authorise every payment. To turn off authentication, type a large number eg. 10,000.

  5. Tap Done.
