Paying a bill from an email attachment

Open the attachment on your mobile phone. Scan to Pay supports PDF, JPG and PNG bills.

Share the bill and select the Bluechain app from the share list.

The Bluechain app will open. In the app you may see a loading symbol as the data in your bill is processed.

Once the bill has been processed you will be presented with the data collected from your bill on the Bill Details page. Check that all of the details are correct and select Next.

Paying a bill from a photo

Open the photo on your mobile phone.

Share the photo and select the Bluechain app from the share list. For photos all of the important bill details must be on 1 page (ABN, BSB and Account or BPAY details, due date, bill amount etc)

The Bluechain app will open. In the app you may see a loading symbol as the data in your bill is processed.

Once the bill has been processed you will be presented with the data collected from your bill on the Bill Details page. Check that all of the details are correct and select Next.

New Billers

When you use Scan to Pay to pay a new biller, the biller is automatically onboarded to Bluechain. In this case, your payment won't be completed until the biller details are verified by our team, which is usually completed within an hour.
